Where you can pay with your iPhone
Before you start
- Your card must be active at app.cryptocard.la (identity verified).
- Have the card details handy: in the Cryptocard app, tap Details to see the number, expiry date and CVV. For security they hide after a minute: if that happens, tap Details again.
- You need an iPhone with the Wallet app (it comes preinstalled), signed in with your Apple Account.
Step by step
- Open the Wallet app and tap the Add Card button (the + sign).
- Tap Debit or Credit Card, then Continue.
- When the camera opens, tap Enter Card Details Manually: the card is virtual, so there is no plastic to scan.
- Enter the name as shown on the card, the number, expiry date and CVV, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- If you are asked to verify the card, choose to get the code by text message or email: it goes to the phone number or email you registered with Cryptocard.
- Done: the card shows up in Wallet and you can pay with Apple Pay.
Button names are the ones Apple uses in English; they may vary slightly depending on your iOS version or iPhone language.
How to pay in a store
- Double-click the side button of your iPhone (or the Home button, if it has one).
- Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
- Hold the top of your iPhone near the payment reader until you see Done.
The payment is taken from your Cryptocard balance, just like paying with the card. Your transactions show up in the Cryptocard app.
If something doesn't work
- Details don't match: check the number, expiry date and CVV. If they were hidden, tap Details again in the app.
- The card is frozen: unfreeze it in the Cryptocard app and try again.
- The payment is declined: make sure you have enough balance. You can top up with USDT or USDC from the app.
- Wallet won't let you add cards: Apple Pay is not available in every country. Even if you can't use it on your phone, the card still works for online purchases.

Can I add a virtual card to Apple Pay?
Yes. You add it by entering the details manually, and it is ready to pay with your iPhone in stores and online.
Does using Apple Pay cost anything?
No. Paying with Apple Pay has no extra cost: the same terms as the card apply.
Can I use it on my Apple Watch too?
Yes. In the Watch app on your iPhone, under Wallet & Apple Pay, you can add the same card to your watch.
What if I have Android?

What if I lose my phone?
Freeze the card from the Cryptocard app in any browser: nobody can use it until you unfreeze it. You can also erase your iPhone with Apple's Find My.
